The Quinn Center is a local community center and nonprofit in Maywood, IL where the Firehouse is located. They have summer programs, senior programs, but also public health resources. The Quinn Center, in partnership with NAMI Chicago, is holding family support groups in Spanish who have a loved one experiencing mental health struggles. Join the Quinn Center every fourth Tuesday of the month.

NAMI Chicago is a mental health nonprofit that works to provide access to mental health services. Their Helpline free and confidential resource that provides a listening ear, guidance and connection to the right mental health and social service resources, over the phone. Additionally, their classes help participants improve their understanding of mental health conditions, develop wellness strategies for managing their own mental health, and connect with community and resources for the future.
