Kathy Khang is a local yoga and breath-work teacher. In this series, she will teach us beginner breath-work exercises for stress, anxiety, insomnia, and more! Not only do these techniques work as coping skills, but they can also be used any and everywhere! Follow along with the video to learn some new skills.

3 Minute Box Breath

Follow along as Kathy guides you through this box breath exercise that brings a calm & stillness, as well as helps improve anxiety and lack of clarity.

 

Awareness Meditation

Notice your breath and connect with your body in this next exercise. The mix of breathwork and meditation allows you to get in tune with yourself, your body, & your breath.

Breath Awareness

Notice your breath and ground yourself with this breath awareness exercise. Allow yourself to feel each breath and acknowledge each one.

 

Body Scan

Connect your breath & body by giving awareness to yourself as a whole, through a body scan. This exercise will help you give words and name how you are feeling in your body.

Simple Breath Variations

This box breath variation is the perfect way to help insomnia or a sleepless night. The variation allows your body to slow down and prepare for sleep.

 

Lion’s Breath

Lion’s Breath is a special breathwork exercise. This unique practice helps to bring energy, release anxiety, and clear out thoughts. It may also bring about emotional release.
